Last December at our annual Roof Christmas dinner and carriage ride with my mom and Tim I gave my brother in law Ryan an assignment. It has always been my dream to blow up a picture of the Salt Lake Temple at Christmas time, make it black and white, and then cut it up into 9 pieces. I think it would be awesome. Well, he took several amazing pictures of the temple and then a ton of pics of the lights. Christmas time is my favorite time of year, I get butterflies just thinking about it right now. So, I am glad this happened to be my 4 in 4. And thanks to Ryan for the help with my crazy ideas.....

Tagged... I think...
I believe that Becky was talking about me when she said she tagged Megan. So I am marking myself as tagged. So you are supposed to open the 4th folder in your picture folder and take the 4th picture and post it. Here is the 4th picture in my 4the folder....

10 of My Favorite Things...
So I have been missing my Chels Lyn so much these days. She is my very best friend and truly half of me. I know that sounds odd to those of you non-twins, but I truly believe that she is a part of me. So you can imagine that not getting to spend much time with her lately is quickly draining me. I decided that posting a blog about her might help me a little. So here are 10 of my favorite things about my favorite person in the world... Chelsea Lyn Hubbard.....
1. She is a dang freakin good time. No matter what it is that we are doing, whether it be sitting watching tv, shopping, or really anything I always have the greatest time.
2. She is a genuinely good person. Our entire life Chels' first concern is always whether or not something is right or wrong. She is always consious of what the Lord would want her to do. She is such a good example to me.
3. She's in charge. I have always known that Chels would take care of everything, which I fully appreciate. It leaves me time to do what I enjoy, such as being a kid with no worries. I love that she takes on my stresses so that my life can be easier. It means the world to me.
4. She knows what I need at all times of the day. I don't have to say anything to her and she just knows. I don't think many people get someone like that.
5. She makes me laugh. I mean tears flowing, stomach hurting, I'm going to puke laugh. There is nothing in the world better then laughing like that. And she can get me laughing at the drop of a hat. The only thing is, we make the other one laugh and then it is a visious circle. It can get messy and painful....
6. Her vocabulary. Chels and I have always made a hobbie out of finding new "curse" words. Such as "Oh my poopin' cow" which was a favorite in high school. Trash hussy is the new favorite these days.
7. Her voice. I love to listen to Chels sing. I am always so proud of her when I hear her. I also love to hear her tells stories.
8. She makes everything exciting. This is truly a gift that Chels has been given from my cute mom. They both have the ability to make the smallest thing the biggest deal. Like a Saturday afternoon shopping trip. Throw in a See'z candy and you have a party. I love it.
9. She knows me. She knows how I arrive at my thoughts and beliefs and appreciates me for it. She never judges me for what I do or say, because she honestly knows how I came to that point.
10. She is beautiful. Inside and out. I love that she is always so classy and fun. I am so proud of who she is physically, mentally, and spiritually. Honestly and truly, she is who I want to be. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about what Chels would do in a given situation.
So there are just 10 of the countless things that I love about Chelsea Lyn. She is my very best friend. I love her with all of my heart and I don't know what I did to deserve a twin. And Chels at that. I thank the Lord every day for giving her to me. I wouldn't be the somewhat sane person I am today without her. Love you Chels!

A Night with the Knight....

So Jesse and I have both been completely alone lately. Chels has been in rehearsals, and Q has been doing several things lately (like boys camp and a business trip). We were both going to go to Lagoon for my mom's company party tonight. But we ended up just going to dinner and hanging out instead. We got some fabulous Crisp Bean Burritos from Taco Time and came back to my house to watch the Olympics. It might seem like an odd thing to other people, but Jesse is one of my very best friends in the entire world. I don't know anyone else that would have been so accepting of the fact that marrying Chels meant I was going to be a huge part of their lives. I am so grateful to have such a good man taking care of my twin. I am also grateful that he always answers my odd questions. No matter the subject, I know we will have an in depth conversation about whatever I'm pondering. And he never judges me for the opinion I have, or for the lack of knowledge I might have concerning a certain subject. I'm so grateful that he is my brother! This is just a little shout out for the Knight.

MARK!
Listen people. I LOVE MARK! He is just the greatest dancer ever! I love that he is so different. I personally enjoy living my life to the beat of my own drummer, and it seems as though Mark does as well. Ever since week one of "So You Think You Can Dance" I said "Mark and Chelsea Hightower will make it to the final four." And they made it to the final 6. I can't believe one of the two of them did not win, but I don't think their careers are over. If you haven't seen "So You Think You Can Dance" you should look up some of the clips from Mark's dances. I'll try to post a link here. But as it is my first link attempt you might have to copy and paste the address. IT'S WORTH IT! I PROMISE! I LOVE HIM!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQhyPCNHEGQ
Just as a side note, I wish I were as cool as Sonya the choreographer. I wish I wish!

You Better Do This People!
I thought this was SO much fun! I've left a few and would like the favor returned now. You are welcome to leave a memory of Q here too. He doesn't check this very often (or ever) but if you leave it I'll have him take a look. Here it goes: 1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

A Little About Me... How Fun!
Age on my next birthday: 26 (DISGUSTING! I HATE GETTING OLDER! Chels says I have a Peter Pan complex so here is my friend Peter as well)

Month my birthday is in: February (which works out perfectly because if I didn't get something I really wanted for Christmas my birthday is just around the corner)

A place I'd like to visit: MY DREAM! It always has been!

My favorite place: DUH! There is no where I'd rather be!

One of my favorite things: Painting, as in walls not canvases... seriously....

My favorite color: LIME GREEN! My bedroom is going to change to it soon, when Quenten least expects it. It's a good thing he's such a good sport!

My favorite food: ICE CREAM! Here's a shout out to my friends the Glazier kids. Go to the Murray or Jordan Landing Cold Stone if you feel like ice cream. Support some good ol' saints (as in latter day, it was funny in my head okay)

Least favorite food: Anything that smells like vomit. SERIOUSLY! I am very picky about stinky food, especially stinky cheeses. I had an OCD when I was little about my hands smelling. Cheese is one of the causes for stinky hands and so obviously I am freaked out by it. I like certain cheeses just fine, it's when you get into the exotic stuff that you're in trouble! Looking at the images of cheese on google was making me sick! I NEED TO WASH MY HANDS! YIKES!
My favorite flower: SUNFLOWERS! I wanted my wedding colors to be lime green and orange and to have sunflowers as the only flower, it didn't happen. My mom didn't think it was a good idea and since she was footing the bill I had no choice. I still wish I would have stuck to my guns though!
The city in which I live: Good old Murray (when I searched for Murray City Utah this is one of the pictures that came up and I just couldn't pass it up. I don't know what in the trash it was doing there)
Name of a past pet: Valentine! My love!
Nickname I have: Nut. Q is the first person who ever called me Nut. I love it! My other favorite is Maybe, that ones from Chels. She has always called me Maybe

College Major: Veterinary Technician
1st job: Babysitter. Thank heavens Chels and I always got to go together or else I don't think I would've lasted long....
A hope for 2008: Check the name of my blog.... This is a brindle English Mastiff baby. He will grow to be around 180-190 lbs! Look at how beautiful this baby is!
Now I tag: Meg Miller and Sarah... and anyone else who wants to have some fun! Here's what you do: do a google image search and choose an image from the first page after you answer all of the questions. I actually enjoyed myself with this one!

Random
So any of you that really know me will know that random things bring me the most joy. I love the unexpected (unless it has to do with something scary like a haunted house and then COUNT ME OUT!). I love meaningful surprises no matter how small, they just make me feel important.
Well, the last week or so I've just felt a little down and not like my regular self. Now, to make full sense of my story I'll tell you a little bit about Bill. Bill is Chelsea's boss. He was in Chelsea and Jesse's Murray ward when they lived in the Riv. We instantly made a connection with Bill's wife Jan, she is just like me and Chels in SO many ways so obviously we hit it off quickly. Then came the rest of the Rowley family. Chels was working somewhere else at the time and to make a long story short she ended up getting a job as Bill's assistant. Bill is one of my favorite people on this earth I dare say. He is just such a fun, honest, kind person and appreciates Chels and I for who we are. He is also one of the most RANDOM people I know.
On Monday I was at work (which is about 1 mile away from where Chels and Bill work) and the Fedex guy came in with an envelope for Meg Jennings. I LOVE to be called Meg but I let it come to people, I don't want them to feel like they HAVE to call me Meg. Anyway, I opened it up to find a donut smooshed to high heaven and a little not that read "Meg, Thinking of you!-Bill" Chels had told him a few days earlier that I was having a rough go of things lately and he decided to Fedex me a freakin donut. How crazy fun is that?! It totally made up for the mundane rut I've been in. I needed something random to kick me out of this funk.
So, thank you Bill! You have no idea how much a gross smooshed donut and a little note meant to me. I truly appreciated it!
